Threads where total newbies are offering advice to other newbies about growing their business but every peice of advice being shared is totally wrong?
It seems to be happening a lot more lately and rather than asking people who have been around for years what to do, they are happy to listen to their 'friends' and when someone that DOES know what works tells them, that person is 'wrong' LOL
Then they wonder why newbie turnover in the adult industry is so high [shrug]

No, I don't laugh, feel rather sad actually. But I do see it a lot, and I just shake my head. It astounds me how so many claim 'to know' when they still haven't the foggiest clue what the difference is between unique hits and page views. :morning:
Also kind of sad that veterans stop answering newbies questions after being told they are "wrong" too many times

I know if I'm not careful I can be guilty of this myself, what I find almost as annoying are the people who's answer doesn't contain any helpful information and just ends up being a commercial for their own product or a chance to brag about how successful they are. :jerkoff:
As a newbie, I can tell you that I personally don't discount anyone's advice. I do have a tendency to follow the information of more established individuals a bit more closely than that of fellow newbies. It's not that I discount what a newbie has to offer, but I do examine the information a bit more closely before committing it to "stone".
