daily podcast ? how can I improve?

hi all, So I have been doing a dialy podcast of about 20 mins each day on our site. it covers whats going on with the boys in the hosue and usually has a guest on. I am hoping to get some critical feedback on it, is it interesting , is it boring ? how can i make it better?

I know your topic relates to keeping the pod cast going and improving it, but I am always thinking of better ways that will draw in more attention and numbers and maybe this could be a neat idea?

I have listened to the pod casts before and after we did the shoot at the Tampa house just to hear the inside scoop and there was some drama going on during that week and I was interested to see what was happening. I think its neat that you have something like that where people can count on a daily news brief, but to be honest, I have never heard a pod cast before I went to your site. It reminds me of the morning shows that you listen to when going to work in the mornings. Great audio quality, and I like it when you have people on the phone, makes it really professional.

I am more drawn these days to video and TV. I used to watch alot of "Imus in the Morning" on MSNBC, and my idea would be similar to that. There is allot of "eye candy" when using video and that may be a draw for some people if you were doing a morning show on video in your dedicated studio. You could also incorporate small video clips of daily happenings, and so forth. You still would have people call in, and all of that other stuff, but people could actually see you talk and watch you interview guests. If numbers is your end goal, you may want to try something like that out and have it easily accessible on the front of your site. It would take a little extra work and coordination, and maybe a dedicated studio to shoot this at, but who know, just an idea.

Aww thanks, yes I had thought about that when the video ipods came out but put it on the back burner because audio only ipods were still the norm, maybe its time to revisit this.
