Just wondered how everyone judges the quality of work a designer gives you as completed?
so far we have been lucky in the fact that the designs we have received back from the various designers we use have all been of a good 'quality' in our eyes.
Is there a set standard for you in what you think is and isnt acceptable in the quality of a design?

site must be usable at first
links and titles must be easy to read for the surfers
content have to be presented in such way, that it is the center of the whole design,
design must not take all the attention from surfer
in most cases
clients of design orders just taking into account their own taste
likes or not
thats the main question for them ;)
Too easy: SALES!
if a site generates high sales it is quality in my eyes...even if it looks like shit to me!
