Apple ilife08 and xxx content

I have never used a mac and am considering getting one for an upcoming project. Reason I am thinking about going with a mac is I hear ilife makes editing VERY easy. Hoping someone can help with a question.

Using a mac/ilife08, is it possible to download a scene from an adult site, (with owners permission of course) edit the scene into small clips, then upload the clips to my server?

This may be a "simple" question but like I said, I have zero mac experience.

Not with iMovie. (The iLife editing software.)

WMV files require either a QT component like Flip4Mac ($30 or $50) or the purchase of a third-party conversion application like Visual Hub.
