Anyone heard of Allboy Modeling?

I'm curious if anyone has ever heard of Allboymodeling.com or Scott Boyler (no relation that I can see to Allboy Magazine or AllboysVideo)

One of our scouts got contacted by the guy, he's based in upstate NY, but he says he "doesn't give out the names of any of the sites he works with" because "some of his models want to be low-key" which sounds to me like total BS.

His Myspace (myspace.com/allboymodeling) says all over it "I'm looking for guys for adult modeling for big bucks" but he has friends who are under 18.

And that, plus judging from the bazillions of misspellings on his website and the lack of specifics, it looks to me like a guy who likes to shoot pics (or diddle models) for his own use, but I'm curious if anyone has heard of him or worked with him.

Just thought I'd see if anyone actually works with the guy.

Thank you for posting this information. We have no relationship to this person or "so called" modeling agency. I think they are trying to ride on the coat-tails of allboymag and allboysvideo. This whole thing sounds like a scam for any potiental model that might fall for this type of agency.

Its one of those guys that "think" they are an agent, posing as an agent to lure in young guys for there own sexual habits....sooner or later, his post on myspace will be taken down soon and this so called agent will fade away!

It looked creepy to me too. I used to do non paying test shoots, but it was almost always before models knew I did anything with adult, I did free pictures, no nudity, and gave them a disk with all of the images on it, then if they worked out, I would approach them again if they wanted to do adult. This does a few thing:

1) You get to know the model, and vice versa, you get to see how they act and work, before having any added pressure of nudity.

2) While it was an extra step, it removes some of the flake ratio of models. A shoot involving nudity can add pressure to a first time meeting, by having them getting nude on a separate occasion, they almost always show up, and they are much more comfortable than a first meeting type of thing.

sounds new. :pirate: ( interpreted: people that do not pay for "test shoots" f*cking disgust me , I get several models a month telling me of scouts/companies that have them come in for either a "test shoot" or "we'll mail you the check" after they have completed a set of photo's/film , they best not come anywhere near the shores of hawaii with that crap , I will blow your shit out of the water. )

Yah, the "non-paying test shoot" was a pretty huge red flag for me as well.

We had a "model scout" that worked for us for a while, until we found out he was insisting on non-paying "test shoots" for all his models, claiming we wanted them (which we didn't) and in some cases, asking for multiple non-paid shoots some of which involved his having sex with the models. He was really slick and a lot of the models believed his crap.

Needless to say, we dropped him like a hot potato as soon as we realized what he was doing, and we notified the couple other studios we knew were using him.

I agree, it's people like this that really give our industry a bad name.

In my world - the model pays the photographer for a shoot.

Translation, I'll do a shoot, for free, if it's worth my time. Else, pay me. IF I REQUEST YOU TO MODEL, then I'll pay you.

But that's real world photography - AKA: You need a portfolio - I don't.

If shooting just for porn, then the tables change. BUT - before everyone gets high on the horse, MODELS PAY THE PHOTOGRAPHERS!


And none of this changes the fact of this person looks like a scumbag with underage "buddies" and requesting porn models.


But again, If you're going to "rib" someone - know the overall industry before you run with something.

I'd recommand staying away from this guy and his so called partner, a Kyle Kapsiak. A couple of years ago he had a content site at allboycontent.com where he ripped a few webmasters off. And yes, I am one of those webmasters.

Boyler is also known to use a bunch of fictious personal and business names, as well as, addresses. He even uses a contact phone number that belongs to some woman, a Debbie Valvo, who is in cahoots with him.
