NICE! Appeals Court strikes down Texas ban on sex toys

--> Federal appeals court says Texas law selling sex toys violates right to privacy.

Here's the important take away from the news story --> "The opinion relied heavily on the U.S. Supreme Court's 2003 decision in Lawrence and Garner v. Texas, which struck down a Texas law prohibiting private consensual sex among members of the same sex. That case established a broad constitutional right to sexual privacy."

It's also neat for me, and I happen to know many of these players in this trial.
All in all it's a great day watching a constitutional right to privacy emerge in our court system. So here's a nice of example of how the system works!

The dissenting judge is storming the halls to drum up support for an en banc hearing -- all the justices of the Circuit. The 11th Circuit overturned a similar ban, but the 5th Circuit is more likely to say "its Ok to stimulate those sex organs at home!"

What can any of us say but "About F**king Time"!!

Being from Texas originally, I wondered when they were going to get around to joining the rest of us and get rid of that stupid law.
