gayvn awards before/after parties?

Does anyone have any info on the party stuff going on about the GayVNs?

I know there's both a before and an after party, I just dont' know where.

The Industry preshow (5pm industry cocktail) was canceled according to GayVN

Any reason?? Or link??

Derek and Romaine mentioned it on their Sirius radio show and GayVN Awards removed the 5pm industry party from the website NO explanation has been forthcoming however.

Derek was on the phone with Billy Masters who said it was canceled!

He also said winners are limited to a 75 sec acceptance speech (that is great it will muzzle Michael Lucas LOL)

well then. Where are people going afterward?

I went to the Opening Night cocktail party last night, and everybody was asking the same questions - where's the parties?

Chi Chi usually holds an after-party but Andy told me last week they couldn't find a co-sponsor or a venue.

I spoke to Albert from Naked Sword, and he basically said the same thing. So there are no official pre-parties or after parties.

I'm suggesting Bearracuda at Deco Lounge for the after party. It's Bear Weekend (IBR) and it's always a fun time even when it's not a convention - plus they have a naughty dark room downstairs (shhhh, don't tell anyone...) :
