bec's surgery went well. she's still in pain, unfortunately, but her circulation is back in her leg. she got the stitches taken out today and everything is working just the way it's supposed to be :)

Me either. I know she had a very serious operation a while back, but I thought that was all over and she was doing well. Hopefully this was something a lot less extreme and she will be back with us very soon.Quote:

I'm still in pain, and will be for a couple more weeks at least, but I do have full use of the leg now and my toes are warm! For those that weren't aware, I had to have another vascular related bypass to restore circulation to my left leg. It meant going in and removing a clot from a shunt that was put in back in 2001 and attaching a new piece of shunt off of it to an artery that feeds blood to my leg.
They had to wait until I was sufficiently doing better from the triple heart bypass I had in August following a heart attack before attempting to fix the leg issue. I still have a huge hernia problem, but they won't schedule me for another surgery for awhile yet. (I hope)
