Newbie question for sponsors about CCBill

I was wondering: when I sign up to be an affiliate with a sponsor through CCBill, does the sponsor get to see my real name? I understand you can check a box to hide your address but I wondered if the account holders name is always provided to the sponsor.

Not a big deal I suppose... just curious.

But while I'm on the subject, would it be OK to give CCBill a pseudonym (and have checks sent to a company name), just in case you wanted to keep some anonymity?

I'm in a line of work where it might be embarrassing if it came out I had some porn blogs on the side.

yes, the sponsor sees your name. quite frankly if it's a really big problem if your name gets out, you probably shouldn't be in the business. being as it's a legal business, you must use your real name just like with any other business.

Basschick certainly has a point. This could cause a problem further down the line if you wish to make some changes that require a signature and what not as well.
I personally have never seen a sponsor give out information like that and I doubt I ever will. We certainly never would either.

If you really think that we as sponsors have time to care what your name is, you're wrong.

Patti is also right that if you're embarrassed to be in porn, get out now.

We never share the names of our affiliates with anyone, but if it would be the end of the world if someone found out, it's best to just not be in porn...
