Most Basic Set Of Niches To Launch A Multi Site Affiliate Program With?

A few years ago, most sponsors started launching their programs with between 4-6 sites with the simple niches like twinks, bears, ebony, asian, general hardcore, plus an alternate niche such as rimming, or a reality style site.

Im wondering if you folks thought this formula for new affiliate program launches had changed in the last few years?

I am actually noticing that more 'new' programs seem to be launching with only 1 or 2 paysites and typically, they have a 'reality' feel to them, even though they arent reality sites per se.

Do you think the 'base' of what a new program should launch with these days has changed compared to say 3-4 years ago and if so, what would you say that stable base of 'flagship' niche sites should be these days?
