Movie Gallery Question

When those of you that build movie galleries work on your layouts, have you found that a specific layout will work better than others when it comes to the length of the clips being used?

For example, on a 1 minute movie gallery, do you use four 15 second clips using 4 thumbs or six 10 second clips using 6 thumbs?

Having not worked on movie galleries for a few years and now getting back in to the swing of things, im guessing that the 4 thumbs @ 15 seconds would be better based on the length of the clips themselves.

Would those of you that work MGPs say this was the case or does the length of the movie clip not have as much to do with it?
