How Often Should Sponsor RSS Feeds Update?

Im seeing a great range of difference between sponsor hosted RSS feeds and their update schedules, some update hourly, some daily, some weekly and some whenever they feel like it.

What would you folks suggest is the best update schedule for sponsor hosted RSS feeds?

Im actually heading towards the once a day update schedule myself as that is actually what *I* prefer from sponsors plus, it gives the affiliate using the feed regular fresh content to keep their traffic hitting their site time and time again.

So what are your thoughts, do you think daily updates are fine or should i change my train of thought on this?

If you have one feed per site ... then do the RSS update the same day as a site update. If you show multiple sites via one feed, adjust it so the sites update on different days, then your feed gets a dif site daily.

I update 3 times a week with in sync with our content update

I do like 1 feed update per day, but I far prefer a quality feed post over quantity. If possible, 1 quality feed post per week is good. A quality feed has plenty of text and several pictures at least 300px wide and/or one 2 minute .flv video.
