When To Dispose Of Content?

Have you ever gotten rid of content that you own completely never to use it again?

Over the past 10yrs we have purchased about $500k worth of content and im wondering if there should be a point in time when some of the older stuff we have just gets thrown away never to be used again?

Have you ever retired old content that you have purchased and, if so, how did you make the decision to drop it?

Do you think it even makes sense to drop some of the content you own entirely of do you think its stuff you should hold on to indefinitely?

I know more people who cycle their content rather than dispose of it.

You know the average lifecycle of your members areas - add a month or two it, and cycle movies/sets in and out of your site over a 4 or 5 months period along with the introduction of new content.

Every day there are new surfers who haven't seen that stuff before.

Lee, why would you ever want to "throw away" content?
It may have earned all that it's going to on one site... but why not create an archive? That's what we do.

Or why not sort out older content such as foot fetish, bareback, glory hole, big dicks, so on... and create niche' sites with the content. It may be old, but like Mary said, your current clientelle may not be too enthused about the content, but you may have new surfers that may like it. So why not recycle it into something else to earn you even more revenue?
