Traditional website vs 'mobile-friendly' page layout

Let me preface this by saying that though I have a plan that grants me unlimited net access, I don't have a phone capable of really taking advantage of it.

My big question is this: how much do you have to modify the layout of a traditional adult site to make it appealing to those using high-end mobile devices?

Right now we're trying to make a 'mobile' version of MaleSpectrumPass. The content is the same, just converted to formats optimized for mobile devices, but is the layout of iMaleSpectrumPass going to be appealing to mobile users?

Also, if I buy a fancy-pants phone that can handle real mobile net access, could I write it off on my taxes as a business expense?:tongue:

Right now i am replying on my cell as we're currently at moms and i just checked your mobile version and it still scrolls width wise quite a bit.

I Would say that you need to trim about 25 pixels off the width of the site for it to load fully on my screen without any scrolling.

Oh and incidently, the 3G version of the site looks NOTHING like it does via the web when using a mobile device to view it.

Here's the thing though... I understand in the new 2257 regs that if you have a mobile site, the 2257 statements and links have to be in 12pt type. How are you going to get all of that onto a phone? It'll be scrolling for forever.

12pt for mobiles?!? I missed that one. At least that would help explain why our 'mobile team' is so surly in the mornings.

Tangentially related to this: do any of you guys know of (or are) webmasters who actually generate traffic for PSP format content? Some how the tech savvy folks down the hall managed to get our content to look all pretty and clear on a PSP screen, but I can't seem to find any legit webmasters who push that sort of content and have the search engine 'street cred' to show up.

I googled PSP porn and some other variations and all I found were glitched sites and mainstream news articles about porn UMDs in Japan.

We need PSP porn affiliates!:fool:
