do typing errors work to get traffic in search engines

i noticed that i made an error when i was writing some text for one of my freebie sites and i spelt uniform wrong i actually put uniFROM and i seem to be getting some traffic from yahoo from people spelling it the same way i did

do you think it would be a good idea to deliberatly spell some more words wrong to try and get more traffic in this way or should i try to get my spelling right all the time and not worry about keyword mistake traffic?

Yes typo traffic can be gleamed from the SE's deliberatly however, i wouldnt focus my efforts purely on typo generated SE traffic, there are actually more people who spell words correctly than incorrectly ;)

Any extra traffic you can get from the SEs directly is a good thing though :)
