Interesting Spam Findings...

Since putting our self-help websites online we're actually getting a lot more spam specific to the sites we have, we're pretty much getting double the amount of spam we usually get but, its actually very specific to the domain names we registered.

For example, i know we never really got any spam about quitting smoking before the last few months but just recently i seem to be getting around 10 'stop smoking' emails a week, also weight loss, that was something i very rarely got via spam email now im getting almost 20 of those spam emails a week and lets not forget penis enlargement, im getting around 5-10 emails a day asking if need to get a larger penis LOL

I guess the spammers are crawling the whois database somehow and correlating the emails we used to register our domain names with the domain name niche and sending spam based on that.

Anyone else noticed when they register some specific domain names whether the amount of niche specific spam they get increases?
