Google's blogger off-limits?
Blogger's Content Policy states:
"Commercial Pornography: We do not allow content that exists for the primary purpose of monetizing porn content or driving traffic to a monetized pornography site."
I would think that clearly and succinctly answers my question. However, not many but some blogger blogs very much DO contain banners and so forth for monetization, sometimes lots of them. I'd think they're just not caught/banned yet from Blogger, but some are rated as top blogs and have become popular. I'm confused. Is there something they and maybe you know that I don't about this?
In another thread (on this site?), I once mentioned that I'm presently using Wordpress to design my sites. Well, I was thinking of maybe using Blogger first as an easier, less stressful start...as I learn more all the many, MANY important aspects of making viable, profitable sites. For example, I thought Blogger would provide a good jump start on the job of publicizing my site...then if and when the site becomes popular and more stable, and I've learned enough to give it a go all by myself, I could move it to my own hosting account. Just an idea. But it sounds like Blogger is off-limits, since my primary goal is earn money from my sites...or, again, am I missing something?
