What Is Your Main Reason For Posting On GWW?

Was just curous to see why everyone posted on GWW primarily, whether it was to take a break from actually working, learn about the business, make friends, or something else?

So what is your primary reason for posting on GWW?

to be honest to execute my moderation rights here as much as I can hehe
oh no.. it was more to promote that I am the guy at SexmoneyGay who is responsible for the NEW stuff we do...

for real I just like the community and the people here and that unlike on other boards it is about biz and personal stuff as well and nobody gets bashed. I also like gaymainstreet and gaydemon.biz for the same reason, but I don't post as much lately cuz I am swamped.

after thinking about it, i don't have one reason that outweighs the others.

At this point, definitely primarily to learn about the industry. I also like forums...to exchange my own thoughts, ideas. If I could make friends or acquaintances in the meantime, that would be wonderful.

I check out other forums, and Gaydemon is so far the only other one I post at. Friendly like here. However, I keep coming back here mostly, many of the same people plus oodles of things to read here.

Well im noticing that im checking some of the other gay forums less and less as of late, right now i probably check GayDemon once or twice a week, unless someone ICQs me a thread link, GMS i check when someone sends me a link on ICQ, the others, if i check them once a month that is a lot.

I post because I have always posted. It's kind of a habit now. LOL!

another reason is because unlike some other places, GWW sends emails when there is another reply to a post I have commented on.:thumbsup:

Well, i checked 'make friends', but what I really mean is to participate in a knowledge and information exchange to position myself to get useful information.

You try to give some in expectation that you might get some.

And to hone my sense of the undercurrents of the business.

I selected "make friends" but really it is a combination of a few different things.

I want to meet other people in this industry, make business contacts, relax and unwind a bit during tough days and just enjoy myself all around. The best thing about working in this industry is the relationships that we build with each other.

I regularly hang out here and GayDemon... a bit on GMS as well.

I enjoy these boards because, as mentioned before, the are a good mix of business and pleasure.

I joined here cause I'm clueless about the gay niche and need to learn it,,, cause I have a few new gay sites! Even though I've always hanged out with the gay crowd. Funny, my gay friends don't know anything about gay porn. They never use words like hunk, twink, bear and all that,, don't even understand it.

My reason(s) have changed over the years.

Once it become apparent who the good vs evil are, I've moved on to direct e-mail contact.

all of the above. but the biggest being having a sense of community...and the support is great
