What Is The Most You Have Ever Paid For A Domain Name?

I was just curious to see what the most you folks had ever paid for a domain name was, i think the most we've ever paid was about $500 a few years back for a name that we're using in non-adult right now however, it did have a message board and some content on it so strictly speaking, it wasnt just a domain name that we purchased although it was primarily the domain we were interested in.

So what is the most you have ever paid for a domain name either new or one you have purchased from another person?

about $8 from godaddy lol

I think I bid $60 on one. It was a year later that it actually became available. I had forgotten about it. I still don't remember the name. It's long gone now.

A bargain price of $300.

Then sold it for many, many times that.

We bought a domain name for $950.00. We bought BarebackFirstTimers.com.

It's a throw up domain until we switch over everything to a CMS we just bought. However, made our money back within 2.5 months.
