Is There Such A Thing As A 'Standard Banner Size' These Days?

Its seems that as of late im getting requests for more and more different banner sizes from affiliates, some want really tiny buttons (50x50 - which i totally dont get lol) and some want huge skyscrapers 250x1000+px.

As we have transitioned over the space of the last 5+ years to more user driven websites and social sites, do you think that what used to be termed 'standard banner size' is still a relevant term on the web today as a whole?
