Interesting New Way Of Shaving Sales...

So ive been checking out a few of the straight webmaster boards the last few days to see what they are talking about and it seems like the largest topic of discussion on several of them is mobile traffic.

This actually led a few people in these threads to check their sponsors paysites using mobile devices and they discovered that some sponsor programs are actually redirecting affiliate traffic from mobile devices to mobile websites that affiliates are not getting sales credits for.

Might be an idea for any of you folks with mobile devices to check out some of the programs you are using on the gay side of things to see which of them are redirecting your mobile traffic to sites you are not getting sales credit for $0.02

Im slowly working my way through a list of program sites right now trying to see if any of them are employing these types of tactics to shave sales by redirecting mobile device traffic to other affiliate programs so far though, i havent found any programs i am promoting doing this :)

very interesting. i had a sponsor that wanted me to update my htaccess file with their code.

ok, i did it, then i check mobile stats and there's like 20x more uniques than actual mobile surfers.

i pulled the script asap.

I run blogs. I prefer to use the mobile plugins and let the surfer take it from there.
