1st Page To Join Page Stats?

I was wondering how you folks were currently measuring traffic flow through your paysites in terms of measuring how many of the surfers hitting your sites front page click through to the join page and other pages on your sites?

Im seeing a lot of sites lately where the unique front page hits to join page hits can be a lot higher than what i think they should be.

For example, one sponsor i have sent so far today just over 500 hits, of those only around 80% hit the second page, and of that 80% only about 50% hit the sites join page.

That being said i am also noticing that this particular program has a LOT of 'free' trailers on the tours of their straight sites so im wondering if this is contributing to the decline in surfers hitting the join page, maybe they are getting off for free on the trailers perhaps?

How are you folks that own paysites tracking where surfers leave your sites and is there anything that can be done to stop this type of traffic waste?
