Beta Testing Has Gone Well....

So for the past few months we've been beta testing the features of our upcoming DMCATracker service and we're now getting ready to do the design work on the site.

That being said, what type of 'design' style do you folks think would work best for this, im actually toying with the idea of using a nice clean layout with a lot of white space, almost like something with the feel of 'Twitter', basic splash entry page, navigation header and footer, nothing to fancy but at the same time, not 'basic'.

Do you think a cleaner look is more in-tune with web trends these days or do you feel the site should have more of a classic feel to it with several pages on the front-end of the site explaining what it is about, etc, etc?

Your thoughts please?
