Obscene Content + Legal Content - How Do You Decide?

When it comes to content that you want to use on your sites, or a programs paysite you have seen that you want to promote, how do you decide whether or not that site fits within the boundaries of what is legal/obscene when it comes to the depictions?

Im seeing more and more people asking about various niches in the past few months, gagging for example, not knowing if it is legal to promote the niche or not.

So how do you decide whether or not a site (or sites content) is within both the 'legal' definition and your 'personal' definition of what is legal/obscene when it comes to promoting a site or not?

For me it is a simple answer but then it gets sort of complex lol....

Since day one that I got into the porn industry I always used my own judgment, and so far so good.

my taste is in the "teen" (coed) niche, and then girl/girl stuff, have never been a huge fan of the guy/girl stuff (cause for me a cock not my own sort of kills the "fantasy aspect of porn"

now during the times I have promoted stuff that was not necessarily my "cup o tea" I pull the judgment card....

"Fish-hooking" I've always looked at this as to be a "semi-forced" type thing so I personally won't touch it.

"Throat gag" (or vomit during BJ) again something I have chosen just not to touch.

"Sleep Porn" never would touch it myself... too close to simulated rape in my book

NOW, on to the complexities I spoke of....

Most of my time spent in online adult has been focused in creating, marketing and now selling 3D Toon content, and with 3D toon content there really is NO LAWS (despite what you might have heard) in regards to what is and what is not legal with toons....

(The "Laws" are pretty much on a processor level in all honesty)

So since 2000 you've had companies promoting underage, animal, rape, incest, etc etc etc and depending on the processing it's perfectly fine.

I myself have always lived by the rule "if it's not legal with real people then it's not legal with toons"

I don't create, market or promote any toon content that would not fly if done by real people.

Our credo is - if it's legal in Canada - we'll feature it.

Although our primary niche is bondage/fetish - along with that we feature watersport (combined with bondage), electro-torture, water bondage, CBT, sensory deprivation, hotwax...etc.

We just have to be mindful of what our processor will accept - and so far we've had no objections by our current processor.
