Cookie Length And Affiliate Links...

Was curious what you folks thought a 'fair' cookie length was for affiliate webmasters, i know some programs have cookies set to as little as 60 minutes and some have them set to 365 days, but im wondering if certain types of affiliate program should have cookies set at different intervals based on the type of product, site or service being promoted?

What are your thoughts, for example, using membership/vod based paysites that payout on revshare vs. PPS vs. PPV do you think the three types of program should have different minimum cookie durations because of how they are operated financially?

Personally, i would expect to see a much longer cookie length on a video on deman program than i would on a PPS or revshare based affiliate program.
