I was curious to know those of you that publish rss feeds for affiliates, what is the MAXIMIUM size width that you use on the images you include in your feeds and also, those affiliates who utilize hosted rss feeds on their sites, is there a MINIMUM image size that you look for in rss feeds you are using?

What I do for affiliates is make the image as wide as possible and use css coding for everything. So for the image, I don't put a width in the post just a class="studs1". This allows the affiliate to change the width of the image via css to whatever width would best fit their design. Just make sure you use the same css names each post for each same type item. And its a good idea to tell them they can do it too.

I have the pics at 640 wide right now, but I think i'm going to make them wider.

We offer max 430px as that seems to be like a standard max to not mess up affiliate's themes. Personally on my ole blog networks I liked 450-480 depending on the theme.
I love the NiceDreams solution to image size for blogs. I was able to check my advertising column width, then select the largest available size for the blog images in my blog css.
