Looking for Quality PHP Developer

The Technology/ Web Development Branch of a major gay adult studio are seeking a web development programmer. This is a contract to hire position with the full intention of bringing the candidate on permanently. We are looking to implement new innovation to current sites and the development of new sites.

The candidate will develop new projects and maintain existing sites. To do this, the candidate must have excellent knowledge in PHP, MySQL and ASP (which is our legacy code). The candidate should have extensive expertise in electronic commerce and be motivated to help grow the online business. The candidate must have the analytical skills to research and resolve development issues, be a team player with the ability to share information and be proactive in identifying development risks and provide mitigations if risks are actualized.
• 5 years of experience in PHP/MySQL
• Computer Science Degree preferred
• Strong understanding of ASP
• Experience in e-commerce site / affiliate program an asset
• Site management and maintenance with a large volume of traffic
• Strong communication skills to keep stakeholders informed.
• Strong Ability to manage time and priorities
