Therapy & work
Does anyone practice any kind of therapy along with there work?
ex.
Massage therapy
Chiropractic work
Aroma therapy
skin therapy?
Anything that makes the work day easier?
The only reason why i ask is because im going to school to become a licensed massage therapist. I think the whole inner healing process makes work and just life in general soooo much easier.
THOUGHTS?!

I sometimes do, mostly when I code a lot or write a lot of mind numbing text, I do some kind of professional aromatherapy based on dilluted alcohol...
Some of the stuff I inhale smells like smooth, late vintage white wine, some like vodka redbull, others like a martini on the rocks...
Also I do some internal treatment with the alcohol based scents once in a while to calm down not just my stomach....
I once in a while get me a massage and I SHOULD go to the gym to get my back worked out cuz I, as you all, am sitting way to much in a chair without moving....

Interesting. Aroma therapy is very unique and extremely beneficial for your mind and immune system. Glad to hear your interested in that shit DEV ;)

Ive been really interested in cheap wine therapy lately. :D

Others might disagree, but I don't need any therapy. :D
I mean those therapies come and go over the years like every fashion. At the end you need to find out yourself what's good for you and not jumping on any cattle train that comes by and promises to take you to a better, greener meadow.

To unwind you just need to do what you like - if that is coupled with something that makes you move your butt thats even better
I usually go out for dinner with a friend, to the movies, have a drink at a bar... like I said, i SHOULD go to the gym because the only reason I walk upright is that my back is all hardened...
Anybody here who might lend me a helping hand? Ryan? Anybody? Anybody? Anybody? Bueller?

Ryan,
Just a tip
Don't spend too much on stuff for your Massage Therapy bizz till your absolutely sure you really want to do it for a JOB.
I took all the classes and really thought I wanted to be a massage therapist, but when I graduated I never did a thing with it, except a few massages for my boyfriend.
Now I have an expensive massage table that I fold my laundry on. And lots of sheets that don't fit any of my beds except my new laundry table.
It's really really hard work and I wish I took classes in something else.
However, if you are really into it, good luck.

:) , I bought the tables , scented oils/magnetic rocks/etc. , a couple of books on massage and after the "sex club" photoshoot (advertisment) it all sits in a corner ... anyone with an interest in becoming a "table-top escort?" ... err massage therapist?
I hate saying this but "therapy" for me is watching something "animated" (disney) and/or "light" (comedy) after a day of "adult" ... of course there are drawbacks , going to "mike's handlebar" (biker bar) with "snow white" on your mind does tend to "soften" my normal "aggressive top" attitude ... has anyone seen my dwarfs?
