I Hate Computers...

So i had to do a massive reformat yesterday because someone [cough]Ryan[/cough] thought it would be fun to install Skype on my laptop, so far i have the audio and webcam stuff working again but everything else just seems to be crapping out on me.....

No email yet, IE is flaky, XP is running extremely slow and its not letting me re-install office, expression or photoshop :(

Sometimes i really hate working on a computer!

If i dont reply to your messages for a day or two, its because im fixing my laptop up not ignoring you!

you don't have a reinstall disk that came with your computer from the manufacturer? I thought every system came with one of those.

my "favorite"? part of working with a computer is when I have to "convert" older material into newer material (exp. 8mm film to DVD/vinyl to CD/etc.) , the process is lengthly but the results are worthwile ( interpreted: as advanced as the computer may be there are still some things it cannot do and/or best done by hand. )
