Any opinions on licensing video content for cable on demand?

Hey Gang:

Anyone have any comments/thoughts either pro/con on licensing content for cable distribution? I realize that different countries have different requirements for what they will allow, etc. but was curious on opinions or experience with this? It seems similar to VOD, but usually the license terms are lengthy (i.e 3 years, etc.) so it isn't something you decide lightly.

Would love to hear from someone that is currently doing it and their experience :) Do share!
