Tired of being a chubby...

Well at the ripe old age of 41 I have finally had enough. Enough of being a fat-ass! I always carried my weight quite well, but now that I'm no longer 21 it's taking a toll.

So Monday I start my new regimen...walking again in the mornings and a combo Atkins/South Beach diet. These two diet programs are the only ones that ever worked for me in the past and at least I get to eat MEAT!

Hopefully by the end of the year, I'll be a new svelte hottie, well okay a hairy trimmer bear like creature that hopefully won't scare the kids too much!

Bye, bye Chinese Buffet...oh the humanity!

Oh my dear chubby... why are you doing diet? Such a pity... I love your big belly, it is cute!

Gary, Ryan and I have been doing the healthy eating thing the past couple of months, lots of fruit and veg, as much as we want and last night i made pea soup which was basically, peas, water, salt and pepper and ill be making it again we all enjoyed it :)

As long as you have the right herbs and spices in the house you can pretty much make carrots, onions, celery and potatoes tasste like anything, even beef burgers if they are done right :)

All three of us like spicy food too so a few weeks back we did chickpea burgers with cumin, chili and curry powder, they were great on burger buns with some salad.

Yeah, don't tell me about it! I use to find a gym and work out once a day even on the road, but as I get older the more I just go "ugh, do I need to do that when I am flying around all the time?"

Eating healthier and doing a bit more cardio should help! Good luck!
