Depends on the provider and what storefront they are using.
We do it that way on Rainbow Content as not everyone wants to pay online immediately, some people want to use paypal, some epass, some checks, etc, etc...

I was actually on rainbow content not sure if I am doing this the right way, but I want to purchase some image sets to upload to my gallery on my member site. My idea is to use that as one of the features of memkbership to be able to view galleries of different image sets.

here's a little money saving hint - check the forums before purchasing content to see the sellers rep. If the seller has a good rep (like rainbow or worldwidecontent or adultsexcontent) then you can feel better about paying before receiving. But sometimes searching will reveal some nasty companies too...and its better off saving your money and not getting scammed!
