Memberarea: How do you open a single pic?

Hey y'all

I am indecisive...

How do YOU show a customer a single picture inside your member areas?
Do you open an new window or do you embed it in an html page?

I have the option of doing both depending on how i setup the page links, right now im opening them in a html page though as it makes navigation easier which is actually more important to members than the way a pic displays :)
