HDK Bill has taken a turn
We are all so worried about Bill. Bill has been placed in a home hospice care. Tumors have spread throughout his body (brain and body). Bill only has weeks to live. We are all very sadened here to hear of the outcome, and very worried about the family as I'm sure they are struggling.
I'm posting this because know many of us are friends and are in the long haul together.
Here is Bill's Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.p...00000039369537 if anyone should wish to send a little note.
I really don't have a lot to say right now, bill was a true friend to all of us here and a very wonderful man.
Please keep Bill in thoughts and prayers!
To all Bill's many friends in the Adult Industry:
I can confirm that Bill has taken a regrettable turn for the worse. I know Bill would not mind us sharing this news with you.
I was fortunate enough to visit Bill and the family for a week (just the other week, during his radiation treatment to the brain) to show him how much he is loved and to pass along everyone's regards to him. It was a very special time of family and dear friends, cooking him his favorite foods, reminiscing with him out on the deck as we watched the river and wildlife and shared many fond memories.
It is never easy saying goodbye to your dearest and closest friend, knowing it might probably be for the last time.
Despite his endearing will to fight on, which has been unshakable, he is unfortunately not strong enough to endure further treatments. His very brave and courageous grueling year long battle is nearing an end. His doctors have given him one to two weeks at best. He is at home surrounded by his loving family who are at his side 24/7 taking care of his every need and we are in constant contact to give them all help and support they need.
On Monday of this week, Hospice was call in to make his final days at home as comfortable as possible and to give his family as much support and counseling as needed.
Despite the loss of Bill's voice due to the radiation treatments, (which is now but a faint whisper at best) he did at the time of my visit, convey to me his utmost thanks and appreciation to everyone who has sent words of encouragement throughout his battle. It gave him much strength and happiness hearing from you all, ....with tears in his eye's he said, "he could not thank you all enough!"
Please keep Bill, and his family, in your thoughts and prayers as we all hope he does not suffer.
