Most of us spent the summer gearing up to release new sites and material as the college guys head back to class, but with sluggish summer sales, limited jobs and a shaky economy overall in the USA do you feel you'll see a significant increase in sales?

I'm seeing sales increase. We took a drop from July and August. Our sales are back to where they were in May but not as good as June yet but I foresee it coming.
September wasn't as good as I was hoping for.
yeah same here, a slight increase but nothing like in past years
My Sept. sales were up, but October for affiliate programs is sinking...worse then 5 years ago for me;(
I hope that I'm the odd man or woman out and that you all have punishingly hard sales.:king:

I'm sure this isn't an original thought, but when things start slipping down, perhaps it is time to start thinking outside the box....:french:
at the moment october stay the same that september, but if I take a look years ago definitely downward spiral.
Sluggish at best, in my opinion. I think surfers, even the college kids, are being cautious on where they spend, other than the bar or liquor store, that is.
Also kind of think, that surfers are getting smarter, wanting something other than rehashed stuff, before they part with their cash.

So those of you with downward spirals ... is/was your marketing effort the same? Continued submission to link directories, link trades, purchased traffic, fresh banners and tools, fresh updates, etc etc?
