cartoon porn illegal

OK this is a bit of a serious one! I just read that a US man Steven Kutzner pleaded guilty for possessing Simpsons porn, about 70 cartoon porn images based on the Simpsons characters. His sentencing isn't until Jan. 5, 2011, but now he faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.

This is not the first time this has happened, in Jan this year an Australian man Kurt James Milner pleaded guilty to possessing cartoon porn, including those from The Simpsons and The Powerpuffs Girls, and had to register as a sex offender!

And in 2008, in another child pornography case also featuring characters from The Simpsons, an Australian judge ruled that though the cartoons may not be realistic depictions of children, they should still be considered people and therefore could be ruled as child pornography.

The point here is that cartoon porn is somehow becoming recognized as real, so be VERY careful with images you have on your computer, especially if traveling!

I agree and one time I think the laws in England did not recognize cartoons as being porn but with the new laws introduced this year anything remotely **** they are gunning for
