automatic site commentors

Bec & I were researching some new tools the other day and she stumbled upon a tool that does automatic comments on sites, one is aimed at 10 adult tube sites while the other is aimed at blogs. These scripts sell for around $100 each.

I know that many of us fight comment spam and have simply given up and turned comments off, but do you think there is any value in such tools? Either from the traffic generation perspective or from SEO? Google is recognizing the link power of linkbacks from social networking sites, so do you think a product that automatically generates comments is worth it?

Oh, you mean that Adult Sites Poster script ... I'm still trying to figure out how posting comments to tube sites translates into making me money.
