MS cloud-based Office 365 out in beta

After years of development, Microsoft has announced its cloud-based Office platform is out in beta.

This beta release offers Microsoft's flag ship productivity suite to 38 markets, and supports 17 languages. There are 2 options; small business on a month-to-month deal with "community support", or enterprise with 24x7 admin support, advanced configuration and an annual contract. Access starts at $6 per month.

MS also announced the Office 365 Marketplace, which will allow third parties to publish apps or offer professional services (all subject to MS approval). More information and the join link are at this page:

This is a long awaited move for MS, it could be what is needed to ensure that Office will continue to be the productivity tool of choice with PC users. Would you use this service?
