While mainstream movie producers have long flirted with porn, gradually introducing more and more nudity and softcore sex into their productions, and occasionally even a little hardcore, it's clear that they've never understood the genre, and the early buzz on at least one of the competing biographical "studies" of the late Linda Lovelace seems to bear that out.
