I don't bother. I did when Butch Dixon first started up, but after putting a couple of weeks into it, my account was deleted because I had a bare-chested man touching his nipples.
I didn't have any x-rated photos on my page.
My account was simply deleted. There was no warning to remove the offending photo and in fact I'm not even sure that was the reason. No reason was given, or the one they gave was so vague.
I just decided that it wasn't worth the bother.

I use Facebook for daily promotions of our Badpuppy updates. I strictly us G rated images and also G rated text and I've not had a problem. Example as far as text goes, when I promote say a title on our BadpuppyVideo VOD site that has the word cumshot, I post that word as c*mshot and cock as c#ck and so on! We've done well with Facebook. You do have to be careful though.
I know a guy that works on it all the time and makes a KILLING. But they do kill pages fast.
Lisa is right - you have to work to make your Facebook marketing acceptable - and you can't make a mistake or everything you've built is gone - Twitter is much more accommodating to adult but that's a whole different strategy...

Our biggest mistake ever was by relying on our studio VOD accounts. That eventually brought fear into our eyes as we seen companies going out of business left, right, and sideways. With that said, you must fend for yourself. If you don't, my rough guess is that you risk failing.
MARKET, MARKET, MARKET. Nick, I know you have small sites, your not a big producer, etc. but you have a great product.
Create a business facebook page for just you, then you can create a facebook business account which is essentially like your own facebook page. Create a twitter account, create a myspace account. Market your guys through those.
Use goo.gl for your linking. It will help attract google to you.
Use youtube to your benefit.
I know you have some yahoo groups, keep those updated.
One thing we've found that really helps is create sub-domains or a directory on your sites to promote your most filmed guys, and your most popular niches. This will help you too.
Blogging. Start a blog on your site. For example:
blog.dudelodge.com
blog.triangledream.com
Install wordpress, create a nice theme, make it pretty but sexual.
Updates are key on blogging. In 1-2 days, I'd do 20 posts. But be as descriptive as you can. Explain the model(s), their acts, what they're doing, why it's so hot, what do they look like? Your essentially wanting to write to someone who is blind.
Trade links with anyone and everyone. Hit the boards and tell them you want to trade links. Linkspun.com has really helped us.
Follow those, and it will treat you well. Do 1 update a day on all of those. Even if it's you saying what you did today. Or telling them, "Hey, just wanted to tell you I'm taking a shower right now." Not anything like that, but I hope you get the picture.
SELL YOUR PRODUCT! MARKET YOUR PRODUCT! MAKE THE WORLD KNOW ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT! That will really bring you to the top.
Trust me, I know. We do that. But don't stop updating unless you absolutely have to - such as in our case. We're driving through 4 days of no internet. We can't. We'll update twitter and facebook through our phones. But that's all we're capable of. We're pulling out the 27th, arriving in Palm Springs on the 1st. We won't have internet until the 3rd.

That's some great advice, PFLJayden! I've got to pay some attention to my blog. I'm pretty excited about it, but it can be really time consuming.
You give some really solid, practical advice here. Let me ask you a question:
I've got my site up and full of content. I have a tour that's clean and clear. I have an affiliate page that just needs some stuff to download from (working on it) What's the one most important thing I need to do to bring in members for Fantastic Foreskin?
