Apple regains 'Top Mobile PC Sales' title

Market research company DisplaySearch reported today that Apple has regained its title as the top mobile pc sales company, shipped over 13.5 million mobile PCs in Q2’11. The report compares shipments of laptops, netbooks, tablets and other mobile PCs.

Apple's success is mainly thanks to the iPad's 10.7 million shipped units. If you remove tablet shipments from these stats and look just at notebook PCs, Samsung and Dell had the biggest growth, up 44% and 33% respectively on a yearly basis.
