Does having a domain hosted in the US give one better Google SEO, than a domain hosted outside of the US?
Good question. From what I know, the location of your hosting account does not matter as much as pretty much every other factor for SEO.
But it may play a small part in rankings ...I suspect that is true for local search and would apply mainly to country TLDs, like .co.uk sites coming up higher for search in the UK.
This is good for renewals as well. Just renewed 3 and bought 2 under the $9.99 discount. It is also good for .net's as well.
