What are good NON Porn blogs / sites for SE crawls

I'm looking to find some NON porn related and porn related sites that I can join like blogger.com that will be crawled by google and get search engine rankings. Ive used blogger... but i dont know what else to try. any suggestions would be great.

There's a whole slew of non-porn social networks you can join that can provide you with linkbacks, like facebook, youtube, google+, etc...

Do those sites get crawled and indexed? I'm looking for more blog type sites as well.
