Dell & Samsung Dump NetBooks

Dell confirmed this morning that it is pulling out of the NetBook market and will no longer be selling any of its Dell Mini 7" or 10" products. Their site now shows a "This product is unavailable" message when searching for any of their NetBooks.

In related news, Samsung sent out an email to its distribution partners a few weeks ago stating that they are ditching their line of NetBooks.

Seems NetBook technology is no longer in demand as consumers have moved to tablet devices instead.
