As announced by VeriSign last July, the price for .COM and .NET domains will increase 7% and 10% starting January 15, 2012. Its recommended that you renew or purchase any new domains BEFORE that date to save some cash!

I seriously need to get out of my actual registrar. I pay $13 per domains.
Here is a trick I use.
I have a free reseller account at resell.biz.
I pay under $9 per domain and get free lifetime private whois registration.
Once you spend $500 with them, your price points go down even more.
They're OpenSRS, so all good.
