Help with Marketing and some web work

I used to be in the business around 2001 for about 5 years. Due to a break up and a passing, I ended up leaving and going into a new line of work . That new line of work has given me the freedom and the time to try and return to the adult/gay industry. Obviously a lot has changed but I think I can make go of it. I am not looking at this as a do or die situation, but a chance to do something that was lucrative and fun. The main problem I have is the marketing and work load. While I have good resources, someone to share ideas and help with is what I am missing . Where is a good place to look for someone that is local (LA area) that has some marketing and maybe web skills who wants to start on a new path with me? Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

In regards to your question, it sounds like you're trying to network with others in the adult industry, but in person as oppsed to the way many of us do it, which is online in forums like this. The good news is that you're in LA so it might be easier. The only suggestion I can offer is to attend any local porn related events, like award shows and such, then network like crazy. If there are any pornstar appearances at your local bars or videostores (is Drake's still there?) I'd approach the guys and ask if they can put you in contact with agents and directors.

oops. After reading what I wrote, I better clarify. I am working on the back side as a web designer/marketing and looking for assistance with that part of the business. Not looking to be in front of any cameras :)

If, however, you are looking for some hired help, get in touch with me. I have some time on my hands since selling my 4 programs earlier this year, I think it would be fun to do this work again!
