Every year the weather is getting more extreme. Just got hit by the worst monsoon rains ever. Flood everywhere, no electricity, water and food. God help us.

i know the local community here is raising funds to help back home, and even the rest of our city pulls funds together to help out as we have a very large Philippine community here
That may be a bit of an overstatement. Typhoon Ondoy was much worse in 2009.Quote:

I'm sitting in my home in Pampanga. While we have received tremendous amounts of rain there is no flooding in our immediate area.
