Actually no, Bee's do not eat pollen to make honey. That is used to make the plant produce seeds. ;)
It sticks to the bee's legs in the hair, when they fly to a new flower, it rubs off and the flower become "pregnant".
The bees eat the nectar from the flower and digest it. When they return to the bee hive, they go over the baby bees (larva) and vomit it onto the eggs, and cover it up with a wax so the young bees have something to eat while they grow their legs, wings, ECT. ;)
