I'm putting together a list, but I'm still new to the genre. I could easily google it, but I thought I'd ask a panel of actual people who are in the industry:
So, Gay porn stars of the 80's and early 90's. Who were the most popular during that time?

Jeff Stryker was the biggest in the 1980s I would say. We also liked Jon King. The French porn made by Jean Daniel Cadinot was very popular too with stars like Luigi di Como and Pierre Buisson but generally his films and themes were bigger than any particular star.
Ken Ryker was pretty huge (pun intended). :)
My personal favorite was Jon King.
