Just as a slight introduction, my name is Andy Kay and I'm currently the director/editor/designer/casting director/etc. for Boycrush Studios. I've been in the adult industry for 6 years, first as a model/cameraman, then cover designer, and then production manager. I have been running the company almost on my own for over 2 of those years until recently, as my employer has come back to work. Aside from my porn work, I also have been slowly building my skills as a freelance "jack-of-all-trades" by working occasionally for other media companies in Phoenix, AZ (filming music videos, commercials, etc.) I can do (and have extensive experience doing) anything from designing DVD covers (I will provide my portfolio and resume on request andykaybc@gmail.com) to writing and directing feature length movies, such as "Captain Americock" which won best twink movie at the 2013 Grabbys. In many of these movies I produce the music myself as my forte is audio production and mastering. I have 7 years of experience and am also a DJ/Producer for female/male vocalists at a local AZ label.
I know times in the industry are . . . interesting right now to say the least and it seems like most companies have a pretty tight knit team. That being said, I'm interested in branching out and taking on more challenging projects as I feel like I've gone as far as I can go currently. My editing is pristine, I have all my own equipment (only one camera, however I've filmed with 1, 2, and 3 camera teams), and I continue to work and improve my skills off the clock. Aside from that, I'm a very chill and punctual employee. I don't miss deadlines and I'm easy to work with from product start to finish. I am interested in local or non-local jobs, it all just depends on what you need.
To get down to brass tacks, I'm looking for a edit, design or even production position; making your content even better than it is now. Please let me know if your company or anyone you know is at all interested, I've attached my resume and portfolio so you can see exactly what my qualifications are. Even if what I've mentioned are not the openings that you have the ability to fill, I'd still be interested in other similar options. I guarantee, any porn-production related needs you have, I can make them happen. I know I'm not perfect, but I can't get to the point that I want to at my current company. I'd love the opportunity to branch out and grow my skills even further.
